From Royal Gift Shop to Swiss Alpine Shop
The Swiss Alpine Shop began as the Royal Gift Shop inside the Hotel Royal St. Georges, serving international travelers. Now located across the street in our renovated shop, we continue that legacy as a proud family business in its second generation.

Where do the boat tours start?
Most tours begin in Brienz. Boarding points include Camping Aaregg, in Brienz boat harbor, or the dock near Restaurant Löwen.
When does the season start?
The main season runs from April until the end of October.
What should I wear?
We recommend weather-appropriate, comfortable clothing. Layers are great, and don’t forget sunscreen and a hat!
Are the watersports suitable for beginners?
Yes! We offer beginner-friendly options with instructors for first-time participants.
Do you offer shipping for souvenirs?
We do not offer shipping. Explore and experience the spirit of the Swiss Alps and tradition in our shop.
What happens if the weather is bad?
In case of bad weather, tours may be rescheduled or canceled. We will notify you in advance and offer alternatives or refunds.
